I shiver as you walk by,

A part of my life I do not miss,

A part of my life I will not miss,

A part of my life, I used to miss.

I hide my eyes,

As you tell me your lies.

You wipe my tears

As I tell you my fears

It's like the past all over again

Not today, thought we agreed

Why are you here? Haunting my dreams.

An endless loop coming to an end

I look at you,

My former self.

Confronting the past,

Planting a seed, it's a new beginning

I smile at you, as you walk away

Leave the past alone.
